He took over as Chairman of the Board on 1 December 2000. On 1 November 2016, he relinquished his position as Group Chief Executive and he was redesignated as Executive Chairman. He is a graduate in medicine from the University of London's Guy's Hospital Medical School. He has considerable business experience in various business sectors, including manufacturing, property development, financial management and investment. |
