The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the Company had on 30 January 2026 lodged with the High Court Malaya a writ against OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad (“the Defendant”).

The writ inter alia seeks the Honourable Court’s decision on the following: -

a)To declare that the Corporate Guarantee given by the Plaintiff to the Defendant for and on behalf of Sentoria Borneo Land Sdn. Bhd. and Sentoria Borneo Samariang Sdn. Bhd. (both the wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company which are under Receiver and Manager) are not enforceable;

b)To cancel the Corporate Guarantee given by the Plaintiff to the Defendant for and on behalf of Sentoria Borneo Land Sdn. Bhd. and Sentoria Borneo Samariang Sdn. Bhd.; and

c)To allow compensation / damages amounting to RM 679 million.

The above Writ has yet to be served on the Defendant and it shall be served within 6 months from the lodgement date.

The Company will make necessary announcement(s) in regard to the development thereof accordingly.
