Rahman Sdn Bhd ("3rd Party") and Radiant Seas Sdn Bhd ("4th Party") and Sharikat Sukma Kemajuan dan Perusahaan Sdn Bhd ("5th Party")

Reference is made to the Company's earlier announcements dated 23 January 2025, 14 March 2025, 28 April 2025, 16 July 2025, 26 November 2025, 28 November 2025, 8 January 2026 and 29 April 2026.

 

The Company wishes to provide the following updates in relation to the proceedings:

 

  1. On 6 May 2026, the 3rd Party and 4th Party have updated the High Court on the status of pleadings. As at the date of this announcement, the High Court has not fixed any hearing date in respect of the matter;

     

  2. The 5th Party filed its Memorandum of Appearance on 8 May 2026 and was granted leave by the High Court, to file its Statement of Defence on a later date. The 4th Party shall file its Statement in Reply upon receipt of the 5th Party's Statement of Defence; and

     

  3. Pursuant to the directions issued by the High Court in relation to the Forth Party and Fifth Party Proceedings, the trial and/or determination of the issues relating to the liability of the 4th Party to indemnify the 3rd Party, and the liability of the 5th Party to indemnify the 4th Party, shall be conducted after the trial between the Plaintiff and the 1st Defendant, 2nd Defendant and 3rd Defendant, unless otherwise directed by the High Court Judge.

     

The Company will make further announcement(s) on the material development of the case in due course.
