We refer to the Company's announcements dated 3 April 2026 and 6 April 2026 in relation to the Letter of Acceptance issued by TNB Power Generation Sdn. Bhd. ("TNB GENCO") to the consortium comprising Fabulous Sunview Sdn. Bhd. ("FSSB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company and Cypark Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd. ("CRE") (collectively, the "Contractor") and the Contractor's subsequent acceptance of the terms and conditions of the award under the said Letter of Acceptance.
The Board of Directors of Sunview is pleased to announce that a document exchange ceremony in relation to the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning Contract ("EPCC Contract") for the development of the 595 MWac floating solar photovoltaic plant with battery energy storage system at Kenyir Lake, Terengganu ("Kenyir HHFS Project") was held on 3 June 2026 between the Contractor and TI TNB GENCO Solar Kenyir 1 Sdn. Bhd. ("TI TNB GENCO" or the "Employer").
The document exchange ceremony, which was held following the execution of the EPCC Contract on 26 May 2026, took place at the Energy Transition Conference 2026 and was witnessed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), YAB Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof. The EPCC Contract with TI TNB GENCO follows the novation of TNB GENCO's rights, benefits, interests, obligations and liabilities under the Letter of Acceptance to TI TNB GENCO pursuant to a novation agreement dated 25 May 2026.
TNB GENCO is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad ("TNB").
TI TNB GENCO is a special purpose vehicle established by TNB GENCO and Terengganu Incorporated Sdn. Bhd., which hold 70% and 30% equity interest respectively, to undertake the development of the Kenyir HHFS Project.
