Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as those used in the Company's announcements in relation to the Proposals dated 20 May 2026 and 28 May 2026.

 

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the acquisition of the 2nd Tranche MKH Shares has completed on 9 June 2026. Following the completion of the acquisitions of the 1st Tranche MKH Shares, the MKHOP Acquisition 1 and the MKHOP Acquisition 2 on 3 June 2026, and the 2nd Tranche MKH Shares on 9 June 2026, the Acquisitions have completed today.

 

With the completion of the Acquisitions, the direct shareholding of Whitmore in MKH has increased from nil to 29.6% (excluding treasury shares) whereas the direct shareholding of Whitmore in MKHOP has increased from nil to 3.9% (excluding treasury shares).
