WITHDRAWAL OF ORDINARY RESOLUTION 3 ON THE RE-ELECTION OF DATUK JOHAR BIN CHE MAT AS A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY IN ACCORDANCE WITH CLAUSE 18.4 OF THE COMPANY'S CONSTITUTION FROM TABLING AT THE 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ("2026 AGM" and/or "AGM") OF EDELTEQ

Reference is made to the Notice of 2026 AGM dated 28 April 2026 in respect of the forthcoming AGM of EDELTEQ to be held on 24 June 2026 at 2.00 p.m.

 

The Board of Directors of the Company ("Board") wishes to announce that Datuk Johar Bin Che Mat ("Datuk Johar") has given notice to the Company that he does not wish to seek re-election and will retire as a Director of the Company in accordance with Clause 18.4 of the Company's Constitution at the forthcoming AGM to be held on Wednesday, 24 June 2026. Consequently, Datuk Johar will also cease to be Chairman of the Board with effect from the conclusion of the 2026 AGM.

 

Accordingly, the proposed Ordinary Resolution 3 under Agenda 4 in the Notice of the 2026 AGM is no longer applicable and shall accordingly be withdrawn.

 

The Board would like to place on record our appreciation and gratitude to Datuk Johar for his valuable advice and guidance throughout his tenure as Director of EDELTEQ.
