On behalf of the Board of Directors of Cengild Medical, UOB Kay Hian (M) Sdn Bhd wishes to announce that Cengild Medical had, on 19 June 2026, entered into a conditional joint venture agreement with KCB (an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Eastern & Oriental Berhad ("E&O")) and Skyspring for the proposed establishment of a multidisciplinary tertiary private hospital ("Private Hospital") on such part of land of approximately not less than 2 acres to be identified from and within Andaman Island.

The Proposed Joint Venture entails Cengild Medical holding a 25.0% equity interest in a joint venture company to be incorporated by the parties which will become an associate company of Cengild Medical. The Private Hospital represents Cengild Medical's first venture outside the Klang Valley and is expected to leverage on Cengild Medical's established brand name and expertise in digestive system and abdominal health, supported by its strategic, operational and clinical management involvement.
