The Board of Directors of CN Asia wishes to announce that the Company had on 14 July 2026 received a written notice dated 13 July 2026 ("Notice") in writing pursuant to Section 281 of the Companies Act 2016 from Messrs SBY Partners PLT ("SBY") on their resignation as the External Auditors ("EA") of the Company and Group with immediate effect. 

SBY's resignation is on a voluntary basis and is solely due to constraints on the number of partners permitted within the firm, and not for any other reason. 

Save as disclosed above, the Board wishes to inform that the Company is not aware of any other matters in relation to SBY's resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Board has commenced the process of identifying and evaluating suitable audit firms for appointment as the Company's new EA to fill the casual vacancy pursuant to Section 271(2)(b) of the CA 2016. A further announcement will be made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad upon appointment of the new auditors by the Board.
