Datuk Megat Abdul Munir is the founding partner of Zain Megat & Murad, leading the firm's Kuala Lumpur branch and its Corporate & Commercial, Foundation Law, and Litigation practice areas. With more than 30 years of legal experience, he is a trusted adviser to boards of directors, shareholders, multinational corporations, public-listed companies, and government-linked entities on corporate transactions, governance, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments, and regulatory compliance.

His notable work includes acquisitions of public-listed companies, a RM10 billion Sukuk issuance, management buyouts, and advising on Malaysia's first Transit Oriented Development (TOD) along the Kelana Jaya LRT line. He has also led cross-border disputes in Dubai, Qatar, and the Philippines.

In the past, Datuk Megat has served as an Independent and Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chairman of Tong Herr Resources Berhad and the Chairman of the Audit and Nomination Committees of Cypark Resources Berhad.

Currently he serves as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director (Alternate Director) of Sapura Resources Berhad.

Beyond practice, he serves as Protector of the Pink Ribbon Wellness Foundation, Deputy President of MCOBA and the IIUM Law Alumni, and a senior trainer for the Malaysian Bar Advocacy Training Course. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1994.
