| Working experience and occupation | Dato' Seri DiRaja Syed Razlan Ibni Syed Putra ("Dato' Seri DiRaja") began his career in academia as a Tutor at Agriculture College Malaysia in 1972 and subsequently served as a Lecturer at Universiti Pertanian Malaysia from 1976 to 1979. Thereafter, he held various senior management and leadership positions in several organisations, including Makmor Group of Companies, Defcom Services Sdn. Bhd., American Malaysian Insurance Sdn. Bhd., OrganiGro Sdn. Bhd., Ancom Cropcare Sdn. Bhd., MESB Berhad, Tanah Emas Corporation Berhad and SK Formware Sdn. Bhd.
He has served as the Executive Chairman of Lax Matrix Sdn. Bhd. since 2013, Lax Global Sdn. Bhd. since 2014, e-Agro Sdn. Bhd. since 2021 and Brian Resources Sdn. Bhd. since 2024.
