On behalf of the Board of Directors of AMRB, Berjaya Securities Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Inter-Pacific Securities Sdn Bhd) wishes to announce that the Company proposes to undertake the proposed construction of an offshore support vessel ("OSV") by a shipbuilder, POET Shipbuilding & Engineering Pte Ltd and the acquisition thereof by Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AMRB, for a cash consideration of United States Dollars ("USD") 19,800,000 (equivalent to RM80.80 million) ("Proposed OSV Acquisition").
