Seasoned executive leader with more than three decades of experience across manufacturing, engineering, automation, advanced electronics and photonics in Asia Pacific. Brings strong leadership experience in operational excellence, strategic growth, governance and technology manufacturing, with a proven track record in building and scaling advanced manufacturing operations, leading regional teams and delivering improvements in quality, productivity, cost and business performance.

His career spans semiconductor automation, hard disk drives, precision assembly, optical modules, advanced electronics and photonics, progressing from engineering leadership to senior management and director-level roles.

He held leadership positions with Applied Magnetics, Western Digital and Finisar Malaysia (now Coherent),leading engineering, factory start-up, automation, NPI transfer and operational performance. He subsequently served with Acacia Communications and Cisco Systems, leading regional process engineering, automation and photonics contract manufacturing across Asia Pacific.

His extensive photonics and optical communications experience is highly relevant to today's rapidly growing AI infrastructure and high-performance computing ecosystem, where high-speed optical connectivity is increasingly critical to moving massive volumes of data efficiently between computing systems and data centres.

Most recently he has served as adviser to top global photonics companies supporting photonics advance manufacturing and technology operations.
