We refer to the announcements dated 19 May 2026, 16 June 2026, 6 August 2026,14 August 2026 and 24 August 2026 in relation to the Acquisition ("Announcements"). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.
On behalf of the Board, Affin Hwang IB wishes to announce that the Company has been notified by the Vendors that Labuan FSA had via its letter dated 3 September 2026 approved the application by Labuan Re pursuant to the Labuan Financial Services and Securities Act 2010 on the following:
- change in the shareholding structure and composition of the board of directors; and
- the amendment to its constituent documents.
The approval is conditional upon Labuan Re submitting the prescribed documents and information within the stipulated timeframe, as well as compliance with applicable laws and requirements at all times.
