Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 25 November 2025 in relation to the Business Alliance Agreement between Tokyo Automatic Machinery Works, Ltd. ("TAM") and Arrow Systems Sdn. Bhd. ("ASSB"), the wholly-owned subsidiary of ASM, for the collaboration in promoting, developing, manufacturing and selling new products and technologies with the objective of contributing to the growth and development of both parties.

The Board of Directors of ASM wishes to announce that ASSB had on 9 September 2026 entered into a Joint Patent Application Agreement with TAM in relation to the proposed joint filing of a patent application in Japan for an invention titled "Continuous Bag Folding Apparatus", being an apparatus designed to fold connected bags into a zigzag configuration using a pusher conveyor.
