Reference is made to the Company's earlier announcements dated 13 March 2025, 15 April 2025, 9 May 2025, 10 June 2025, 14 July 2025, 18 September 2025, 6 October 2025, 9 April 2026, 4 June 2026, 12 June 2026, 30 June 2026 and 31 July 2026 in relation to the Notice of Adjudication under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 served by TPSB against DDSB and dated 11 November 2025 in relation to the Winding Up Petition filed by TPSB against DDSB under Section 465 (1)(e) and Section 466 (1)(a) of the Companies Act 2016 and its Rules in Ipoh High Court ("Court") ("Earlier Announcements").
The Board of Directors of Taghill wishes to announce that the Court had on 11 September 2026 allowed both TPSB's applications namely its application for Enclosure 14 and Enclosure 16 with costs in the cause.
In light of the above, the orders in force forthwith are, among others:-
- Enclosure 7 obtained by DDSB has been set aside forthwith; and
- Mr Baltasar bin Maskor and Mr Muhammad Sanusi bin Ismail from Messrs. BM & Co. have been appointed as joint and several interim liquidators of DDSB.
The Court has further fixed the following directions in respect of Enclosure 1:
- Written Submission: 5 October 2026;
- Submission in Reply: 20 October 2026; and
- Hearing: 17 November 2026
The Court has also exempted the requirement for gazette and advertisement in respect of Enclosure 1.
Save as disclosed above, all other directions of the Court and matters disclosed in the Company's Earlier Announcements remain unchanged.
The Company will make further announcements as and when there are material developments in respect of this matter, in compliance with the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
