Gamuda Berhad [Co. Regn. No. 197601003632 (29579-T)] ("Gamuda" or "Company") wishes to announce that an Engineering, Procurement and Construction ("EPC") contract has been entered into between its indirect wholly owned subsidiary in Australia, Gamuda Engineering Pty Ltd (ABN 36 636 433 522) ("GE Australia") and MEH SubCo Pty Ltd (ABN 51 686 683 214) as trustee for the MEH Project Trust (ABN 48 894 617 901) for the delivery of the Mortlake Energy Hub (Stage 1) ("Project") on 28 September 2026. The parties expect to enter into a separate Operation and Maintenance ('O&M') contract within one month of this announcement.

The Project is a 300MW hybrid renewable energy facility comprising a 435MWp solar and 1,449MWh Battery Energy Storage System ("BESS") that will connect to the existing 500kV network via the Mortlake Terminal Station.
