INTRODUCTION
The Board of Directors ("the Board") of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, OceanMight Sdn. Bhd. has received a Letter of Award from Sarawak Shell Berhad for Provision of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of Fixed Offshore Structure Works for SK408 Teja & Pepulut (TePu) and Temu & Inai (TuNai) Field Development Project ("Contract").
In addition, KKB Group has also received Orders from the following companies:
i) Hock Seng Lee Berhad; and
ii) Bumia Sdn. Bhd.
The combined total contract sum for the abovementioned Contract/Orders is worth approximately RM462 million (Ringgit Malaysia Four Hundred Sixty-Two Million Only).
DURATION OF CONTRACT/ORDERS
The Contract is effective from 28 August 2026 until December 2027, whereas delivery completion for the supply orders is scheduled within the fourth (4th) quarter of 2026.
FINANCIAL EFFECTS
The Contract/Orders will have no effect on Share Capital of the Company and are expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the Company and Group for the duration of the contract/supply.
RISK FACTORS
Risk factors affecting the Contract/Orders include execution risks such as availability of skilled manpower and materials, forex and changes in pricing, weather conditions and/or political, economic and regulatory conditions.
DIRECTORS' AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS' INTERESTS
None of the Directors and/or major shareholders and/or person connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the abovementioned Contract/Orders.
DIRECTORS' STATEMENT
The Board is of the opinion that the abovementioned Contract/Orders are in the best interest of KKB and its Group.
