The Board of Directors of Gamuda Berhad [Co. Regn. No. 197601003632 (29579-T)] ("Gamuda" or the "Company") wishes to announce that G3nerasi Kinta Sdn Bhd [Co. Regn. No. 202601037347 (1699442-V)] ("G3nerasi Kinta"), an indirect 33%-owned joint venture company of Gamuda with SD Guthrie Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd [Co. Regn. No. 199401019840 (305519-W)] and Gentari Renewables Sdn Bhd [Co. Regn. No. 201101039432 (967554-K)] (collectively, the "Consortium"), has on 28 September 2026 entered into a term sheet with a multinational technology company headquartered in the United States ("Offtaker") in relation to a proposed Bilateral Energy Supply Contract ("Proposed BESC").

The Proposed BESC envisages the supply of renewable energy generated from a hybrid utility-scale solar photovoltaic plant with a proposed total minimum net capacity of 680MWac, coupled with a four-hour battery energy storage system, to the Offtaker's data centres under the Corporate Renewable Energy Supply Scheme ("CRESS").
