| Working experience and occupation | Lee Kok Wah is a seasoned accounting professional with over 40 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, with extensive expertise in finance, financial reporting, governance, risk management and regulatory matters. Lee Kok Wah began his career with Anthony Skelchy & Aziz (currently known as PKF Malaysia) in 1982 before joining Manulife Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad in 1990, where he held various positions in Internal Audit and Finance. He subsequently held senior positions with Hong Leong Assurance Berhad, Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad and AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (currently known as Generali Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad). From 2016 to 2024, Lee Kok Wah served as Chief Financial Officer of FWD Insurance Berhad (formerly known as Gibraltar BSN Life Berhad) and was concurrently appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer from January 2021 to July 2023. |
