INTRODUCTION

The Board of Directors ("the Board") of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that the Company has on 28 September 2026 accepted a Letter of Acceptance awarded by Government of Malaysia through Lembaga Pembangunan Koridor Wilayah (RECODA) for SCORE - Infrastruktur Fizikal Bekalan Air Samalaju Fasa 2 ("Project").

The contract sum for the abovementioned Project is worth approximately RM517 million (Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred Seventeen Million Only).

DURATION OF CONTRACT

The time of completion for the Project shall be 36 months and the Company is required to enter into a written agreement with the Government of Malaysia.

FINANCIAL EFFECTS

The Project will have no effect on Share Capital of the Company and are expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the Company and Group for the duration of the Project.

RISK FACTORS

Risk factors affecting the Project include execution risks such as availability of skilled manpower and materials, forex and changes in pricing, weather conditions and/or political, economic and regulatory conditions.

DIRECTORS' AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS' INTERESTS

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders and/or person connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the abovementioned Project.

DIRECTORS' STATEMENT

The Board is of the opinion that the abovementioned Project is in the best interest of KKB and its Group.
