2. PARTICULARS OF THE CLAIM

Award No. 485 of 2026 dated 17 March 2026, Industrial Court of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur Case No. 1/1-672/25.
Pursuant to a Sessions Court Kuala Lumpur Order dated 24 May 2026 under Sessions Court Order Registration No. T06/2026, the said Industrial Court Awards were registered as an order of the Sessions Court.
The amount claimed under the Petition is as follows:
Particulars

3. CIRCUMSTANCES LEADING TO THE FILING OF THE PETITION
On 21 July 2026, the Petitioner, through her solicitors, served a statutory demand pursuant to Section 466(1)(a) of the Companies Act 2016 on GHPB, demanding settlement of the outstanding sum or that the debt be secured or compounded to the satisfaction of the Petitioner within twenty-one (21) days from the date of service.
According to the Petition, GHPB failed to pay, secure or compound the amount claimed within the prescribed period.
Consequently, the Petitioner presented the Petition against GHPB on 22 September 2026.
4. STATUS OF GHPB AND COST OF INVESTMENT
GHPB is a major subsidiary of CHHB in which the Company holds approximately 80.90% equity interest.
The total cost of CHHB's investment in GHPB is approximately RM219 million.
5. FINANCIAL AND OPERATIONAL IMPACT
The filing and service of the Petition do not constitute a winding-up order against GHPB.
As at the date of this announcement, no winding-up order has been made by the Court against GHPB.
Accordingly, at this juncture, the Petition itself is not expected to have any immediate material operational impact on CHHB and its subsidiaries ("Group").
The ultimate financial impact on the Group, if any, will depend on the eventual outcome of the Petition and the related legal proceedings.
The Company will continue to assess the financial and operational implications arising from any material development in the proceedings.
6. EXPECTED LOSSES
At this juncture, save for the amount claimed under the Petition, continuing interest and any related legal costs, the Company does not presently expect any further material losses arising from the Petition.
7. STEPS TAKEN AND PROPOSED TO BE TAKEN
GHPB is seeking legal advice in respect of the Petition and is considering the appropriate steps available to protect its interests.
The Company will make further announcements on any material development in relation to the Petition as and when appropriate.
