PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF 70,034,999 ORDINARY SHARES IN WINSTAR CAPITAL BERHAD ("WCB") ("SALE SHARE(S)"), REPRESENTING 22.44% EQUITY INTEREST IN WCB TO CHUA NYOK CHONG, CHUA BOON HONG, LEE YONG ZHI, HOO NEE CHENG, DATUK LOW CHIN KOON, NG CHENG KENG, PHUAH HUE SHUN, POR TEONG ENG AND CHU KERD YEE FOR A TOTAL CASH CONSIDERATION OF APPROXIMATELY RM30.1 MILLION (BASED ON RM0.43 PER SALE SHARE) ("PROPOSED DISPOSAL")

We refer to the Company's earlier announcement dated 29 September 2026 in relation to the first extension of time ("EOT") for the Proposed Disposals. Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Circular to Shareholders on 28 July 2026 in relation to the Proposed Disposals.

 

On behalf of the Board, HLIB wishes to announce that Sunview, through Vafe, had issued letters of request for a further EOT to the Purchasers, namely Chua Nyok Chong, Chua Boon Hong, Lee Yong Zhi, Khoo Nee Cheng, Datuk Low Chin Koon, Ng Cheng Keng and Phuah Hue Shun, to extend the First Tranche Completion Date by fourteen (14) days, from 5 October 2026 to 19 October 2026. On 6 October 2026, Vafe and the said Purchasers had mutually agreed to the second EOT.

 

Save for the above, all other terms and conditions of the SSAs shall remain unchanged, in full force, and continue to take effect and be binding on the parties to the SSAs.
