Introduction

IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IJM Corporation Berhad ("Company"), has today accepted a letter of award from AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the Manufacturing Facilities Construction Project in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah ("Project"). 

Information on the Project

The Project involves the design and build of 4-storey Production, 3-storey Central Utility Building, and 1-storey Waste Water Treatment. 

The contract, valued at approximately RM1.23 billion, is a design and build contract.  The Project is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is expected to be completed within 14 months from the commencement date.

Effects of the Project

The Project is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the Group commencing from the financial year ending 2027.
