morning everyone, 27th Aug is quarterly announcements ya. look at affin bank... Affin’s earnings slump was entirely driven by a sharp escalation in bad debt provisions. This confirms that macro pressures (such as cost-of-living strains and external friction) are actively testing bank asset quality. Affin at 8 mth low now.

@greatloser never give a peak on affin. lol, lucky me. I sold some mbb two weeks ago around RM 10.72. Hopefully the dividend remain the same (should be) this quarter, or won’t drop much gua, I blif next quarter only the dividend may drop a bit.

Hi, you bought at 9.80, plus 3 years of dividends, its considered a good deal. Selling now is already considered a good earning. The only thing is whether you are happy with the current earning margin or not. Some will want more, but some will be satisfied with the earning. MBB is a long term counter, with its annual dividends, it will always turn into earning positively if you hold it long enough...

@Kc， cukup makan lah, I’m not greedy geh.these few years i invest almost all my extra money to EPF. Few years back i oso foresee it can go up to 12, but who knows…. Sell some and go buy others.

@feng ok lah. It was as stable as I expected, just next yr dunno what happen after etiqa case. So sell some make me feel good a bit in case it dropped to 9.70, haha but I hope it won’t lah. Hut these few years I invest my money to EPF even better. But there are pros n cons lah. Plan for my retirement. Hopefully TH issue won’t happen to EPF.
